Nearly 20 days since i lasted posted ): I can vaguely remember what has been going on man. Urgh, so shag.
Let's just summarize everything and talk about the recent happenings. Yea, week 2 and 3 has been real busy for me. Table tennis training stopped for a while, but all of us from A2Aquatic have been training hard for the NUS competition, even though some of us were not competing, we still went for training, for me, i went every day :D I enjoy training so much. I love to swim. I love to play pingpong. But guess what? Good things come to an end. My father thinks that i've been spending far too much time on sports, especially swimming. From the start he has been disapproving me of swimming. Yea, i know, i swim every day except for fridays. He just wants me to stay home and be the family maid, oh god. I know he wants me to do well in my studies as well. But swimming has never been a threat to my studies. I am able to balance my sports and studies, i know my priorities well. However, he has stopped me from swimming on weekdays, after the NUS competition. Kns, now i can only train on Saturdays and Sundays. What can i train on weekends? Our trainings are on mondays and tuesdays dude! Lucky, coach is nice enough to plan out a training schedule for me on sunday nights. Really appreciative of it, coach :D Although it's far tiring than normal trainings, i'll give my all. I dont want to take what i have for granted anymore. I just have to endure my weekdays without swimming for another 6 months or so. I pray that i'll be able to resume all trainings by then.
Anyway, on Saturday, 19 June 2010, all of us went to NUS for competition. It was my first time experiencing a lifesaving competition. The speed of the athletes from other strong teams amazes me much. They were swimming at speeds that are far faster than the fast swimmers from our teams. Oh god oh god, such strong competitors really made me think, i'm already a slow swimmer compared to many others in my team, then what am i compared to them? NOTHING. Sigh. This brings my self-esteem down much, but it also pushes and spurs me on to train even harder. I will not let my hard work go to waste, just because my father kind of stopped me from swimming. I just have to work harder, i know what i want and i know what i have to do to get it (:
Lastly, congratulations to Dickson and HongYu for clinching a SILVER in the rope throw event. Nice one dudes! :D
That's about all for swimming and lifesaving. Now back to school work. I've been progressing really well with the holidays homework during the first week, finishing everything except for english, science and chinese. I'm now done with English. For chinese, my group just went to Labrador Park today to do the filming(: Hopefully we'd be able to consolidate everything soon :D Science... Oh my goodness. I'm speechless about it. So far no one i asked have done it. And most people are having a nice time figuring how to do it. Hohoho, i really dont know what i'm going to hand in for science homework. It's the last week of holidays already and i havent touched it. Great job, eronica.
Damn all that homework and crap. To think i still have to be a family maid. Settling every problem in the house, doing the chores, taking care of my grandma, god! Like excuse me, i got a life ok! And i'm really feeling sick already. So tired, having real bad headaches recently. I'm going to burst soon. Hai...
Alright, that's about all. I cant decide if my life is boring or exciting. All i can say is that swimming has bombed my life, and i'm enjoying it(: Though i really dont know how i'm going to go on without swimming on weekdays, i'll try my best to enjoy whatever i do, at least for the next few months, till i'm able to resume all trainings again :D Gambateh for myself, and everyone in my cohort. Jiayou everyone for streaming!^^
